'Wheel Of Fortune' Holds Callback Auditions In Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- America's favorite word puzzle game show is looking for Minnesota contestants. "Wheel of Fortune" talent scouts invited "promising candidates" to a second audition in St. Paul Wednesday morning.

The potential contestants were called back after tryouts last June.

A miniature wheel was on hand, and several puzzles were presented to be solved. Those mock games were then followed up with interviews.

Needless to say, there was a lot of excitement from Minnesota fans.

"I've watched for so many years," Pamela Tandberg said. "To have an opportunity just to play -- I don't even care if I win, just to play!"

Contestants chosen from this round will go to Los Angeles to do their best with the real "Wheel of Fortune."
