The girl told her teacher, and Spring Valley Elementary School called 911.

Police searched the school and the surrounding area but did not find the man, who police are describing as an "unauthorized adult."

The man was described as a clean-shaven white male wearing a red short-sleeve t-shirt and light-colored jeans.

The Spring Valley police department said nobody was hurt and all students are safe

The school had assistance from the Spring Valley Police Department, the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department, the Glenwood City Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
