West St. Paul Pharmacy Robber Appears To Strike Again

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says a suspect matching the description of the man who held up a SuperTarget pharmacy Thursday has struck again.

Officials say the man pulled out a black handgun just after 6 p.m. Friday in the CVS Pharmacy on 1471 Robert Street South in West St. Paul.

Just like in the Target robbery, the suspect demanded prescription medications.

He fled in a car, the description of which is not known. Officers searched the area around the drug store, but found no trace of the suspect or his car.

Officials describe the suspect as wearing a hooded, black coat, a black ski mask, round glasses, black gloves, black pants, and white tennis shoes. He's said to stand around 5-feet, 8-inches tall and to weigh 150-170 pounds.
