WCCO Viewers Raise More Than $91K For Animal Humane Society

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - All day Thursday, WCCO raised awareness and money for a great cause.

The Animal Humane Society cares for animals in need at its five metro area shelters.

It provides everything from shelter and medical care, to pet training and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries.

Thanks to a generous $40,000 matching gift by the DeLonais Foundation, WCCO viewers raised more than $91,000 on Thursday.

If you want to help, you can donate or join the WCCO team at Accomplish MN. Join us on May 2nd and Walk for Animals!

The Walk for Animals is the Animal Humane Society's major, stand-up-on-your-hind-legs-and-bark fundraising event.
