WCCO Radio Hosts Town Hall Meeting With Somali-American Community

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Community members came together tonight for a town hall meeting focusing on issues important to Minnesota's Somali-Americans.

WCCO Radio's John Williams moderated the event. Last week, the station wrapped up a five-part series called "Home Grown: The Somali-American Struggle."

Tonight, some people talked about immigrating to the U.S. and the challenges they faced.

The meeting also focused on ISIS recruiting in Minnesota, and how to combat it.
