Water Main Break Leads To Sinkhole On St. Paul's Kellogg Boulevard
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A large sinkhole opened Sunday morning on a downtown St. Paul road.
St. Paul Public Works says the sinkhole appeared in front of Kelly's Depot Bar on East Kellogg Boulevard in the city's Lowertown neighborhood.
Officials say the sinkhole appears to be caused by a water main break.
Crews are working to repair the road and water main.
It's not clear when the road will reopen.
Crews fixing what was once a sink hole, started by a water main break along Kellogg Blvd right outside Kelly's Depot Bar & Grill in dtown St. Paul. Bar owners said mud/water went into bar and basement, but all is ok now. Their concern is how long street repairs will take. @WCCO pic.twitter.com/8K3e3qSw7i
