Water Main Break Closes Minneapolis Public Housing Authority

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials said the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority offices in downtown Minneapolis have been closed Tuesday due to water main break.

The offices, located at 1001 Washington Avenue N., are closed so crews can get into make the necessary repairs and clean up any damages. Officials said the offices are expected to be back open on Wednesday.

Bob Boyd, the director of police and special initiatives with the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, said the offices currently have no functioning bathrooms. Crews are looking into what caused the water main break.
