Warner Road Closed In St. Paul Due To Bridge Demolition

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Warner Road in St. Paul, Minn. will be closed March 22 through 23 as construction crews continue the demolition of the southbound Highway 52 Lafayette Bridge.

According to the Minneapolis Department of Transportation, Warner Road will close at 7 a.m. Saturday between Sibley Street and Childs Road.

The road is scheduled to reopen again at 5 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting.

During the closure motorists should use alternative routes to bypass construction.

The new southbound bridge is part of the Lafayette Bridge and Highway 52 project.

When completed both the northbound and southbound Lafayette Bridges will have two through-lanes and an auxiliary lane for traffic.
