Volunteers Continue Searching For Missing Man In Sandstone

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Volunteers continued to search in Sandstone Sunday for a man who's been missing for nearly two weeks.

Crews were looking for 22-year-old Scott Kleppen, who's been missing since March 3.

Over the weekend, volunteers searched Robinson Park.

"Scott grew up about 15 miles from here," said his mother, Kim Opsahl. "We came here as a family on a regular basis...and we found his pickup here two days after he disappeared."

Kleppen is described as having dark blonde hair, blue eyes and a piercing in his lower lip. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and an olive green canvas jacket over a brown-and-tan flannel shirt.

The Pine County Sheriff's Office says no foul play is suspected in Kleppen's disappearance.

Anyone with information on Kleppen's whereabouts is asked to call 320-6299-8380.
