Vikings Will Host Buccaneers, Raiders In Preseason

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings will host Tampa Bay and Oakland in the 2015 preseason, bringing a handful of familiar faces back to face their former team.

The NFL announced the exhibition schedule Thursday, without finalizing exact dates and times.

After playing Pittsburgh in Canton, Ohio, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Monday night, Aug. 9, the Vikings will host the Buccaneers the following weekend, Aug. 14, 15 or 16. Former head coach Leslie Frazier is Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator.

The Vikings will host the Raiders the weekend after that, Aug. 21, 22 or 23. Former quarterback Christian Ponder and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave are now with Oakland.

The Vikings play at Dallas on Aug. 28 or 29 and at Tennessee on Sept. 3 to finish the preseason.
