Vikings Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that single-game tickets for the inaugural season at U.S. Bank Stadium go on sale Wednesday.

The tickets will be released starting at 10 a.m., and they are expected to sell quickly. Besides a new, state-of-the-art stadium that cost more than $1 billion to build, the Vikings are coming off an NFC North division title and have aspirations to get to the Super Bowl.

Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster or by calling (800) 745-3000. Single-game tickets will start at $28 and an extremely limited number are available.

Vikings officials said just 700 of the of the original 49,700 seat licenses for the stadium remain available.

The Vikings will have preseason home games against the San Diego Chargers on Aug. 28 and the L.A. Rams on Sept. 1. They host the Packers for the regular season home opener on Sept. 18.
