Vikings Sign Prater, Harris To Active Roster

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) -- With the Minnesota Vikings banged up heading into Thursday night's game at Arizona, the team made several roster moves on Tuesday.

The Vikings have signed safety Shaun Prater, who previously played 18 games with Minnesota in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He made three starts in that time and had an interception against the Eagles in 2013.

They also signed safety Anthony Harris from the practice squad.

The Vikings need players in the defensive secondary as Harrison Smith is not expected to play Thursday and Antone Exum Jr. was placed on injured reserve.

The Vikings also signed rookie linebacker Terrance Plummer to the practice squad and waived defensive end Justin Trattou.
