Vikings Head To Training Camp July 24 In Mankato

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday their preliminary schedule for training camp in Mankato this summer.

It'll be the 49th straight time the team's training camp will be held at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Vikings players and team officials will report to training camp on Thursday, July 24. The team's first practice will be Friday, July 25.

The Vikings will host an evening practice on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Blakeslee Stadium, which will be followed by a team introduction and fireworks.

The team will break training camp on Friday, Aug. 15. The Vikings first preseason game is Aug. 8 against the Oakland Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium.
