Vikings Fans Claim 45,000 Seats At U.S. Bank Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With the new home of the Minnesota Vikings set to open later this summer, the team announced Wednesday that licenses for more than 45,000 seats have been secured by fans.
With seven months left until U.S. Bank Stadium opens for the Vikings, there are less than 5,000 Stadium Building Licenses left. Vikings officials say to date, 90 percent of the 49,700 seat licenses have been purchased and just three price points remain among the original 16 categories.
Seat licenses are still available in the ranges of $2,550, $2,250 and $2,000.
Vikings officials also say that 123 of the stadium's 131 suites are committed.
