Vigil To Be Held For Girl, 4, Who Died In Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – On Sunday afternoon, there is going to be a candlelight vigil and benefit for a St. Paul family who lost everything after a house fire, including their 4-year-old daughter.

Firefighters pulled NtshiaLiag Yang from the home, but couldn't save her.

The fire was reported last Sunday night at the little girl's home in the 500 block of Jessamine Avenue.

Family members say her father ran into the house repeatedly, rescuing his wife, his mother, and his four other daughters.

But they say he wasn't able to get to NtshiaLiag in time.

Sunday's fundraiser starts at 4 p.m. at the Hmong House restaurant in North St. Paul.
