Vigil Held For Brooklyn Center Toddler Killed In Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Brooklyn Center community is grieving the loss of a 2-year-old boy who was killed in a fire last week.

Friends and family gathered for a vigil to remember Keoni Holt. Firefighters pulled the little boy from a burning apartment building on Jan. 16.

His older brother was able to jump out of a second-story window and call for help.

Keoni was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. His family says he was a very fun, smart and active kid.

Investigators say the fire appears to have started in the living room.

So far, an official cause has not been determined.
