Vietnam War Memorial Replica On Display At Fort Snelling

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. is on display here in the Twin Cities.

On Friday night, the 1,073 Minnesotans who died while serving in Vietnam were honored.

Their names were read in a ceremony at Fort Snelling Friday night. WCCO's John Lauritsen emceed the event hosted by the Minnesotans' Military Appreciation Fund. The Wall That Heals will be on display through September 13th.

The MMAF is also holding its annual Say Thanks Day 10K/5K run Saturday at the Boy Scout Base Camp at Fort Snelling.
