Victims In St. Paul Motel Shooting ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in St. Paul have identified the two men killed in a Tuesday night shooting at a motel.

The St. Paul Police Department says 30-year-old Nicholas Bennett Tousley and 23-year-old Dominque Charles Moss were fatally shot near the Midway Motel parking lot, on the 900 block of Snelling Avenue North.

Police found one of the men dead outside the motel at 10 p.m. The other victim was found near a freeway off-ramp.

Police believe the second victim may have tried to run and was gunned down.

Eric John Benner was arrested Wednesday, but has not been formally charged.
