Victim, Suspected Drunk Driver In Fatal Andover Crash ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the victim of Monday's fatal head-on crash in Andover.

Seventy-three-year-old Ann Lindeen, of Andover, was killed when a pickup truck struck the van she was in head-on just after 1 p.m. on County Road 7 near 149th Avenue NW. Her husband, Richard Lindeen, was driving.

The driver of the truck, 26-year-old Jeremy Alan Miller, is suspected of driving drunk. Both Miller, from St. Francis, and Richard Lindeen were hospitalized and are expected to survive.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office had to get a warrant in order to do a blood draw from Miller, who was unconscious at the time. The results of that test are still pending.

The state patrol is investigating.
