Victim Identified In Fatal Ramsey Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The victim in a Ramsey fatal crash has been identified by police Wednesday.

On Sunday, the crash occurred on the 16600 block of Garnet Street NW in the town of Ramsey, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Department.

Officers arrived on the scene at around 6:40 p.m. where they said they found a pickup truck that had apparently left the roadway, struck a tree, and come to rest in a yard nearby.

Authorities say the driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Wednesday, the victim was identified as 38-year-old Jeremy John Lind of Ramsey.

The Ramsey Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff's Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.
