Victim Identified In Fatal Duluth Hotel Pool Incident

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Twin Cities man who died after being found in a pool at a downtown Duluth hotel has been identified.

Early Sunday, authorities responded to the Radisson Hotel Duluth-Harborview after a 22-year-old man from Newport was found unresponsive in the pool.

The man was pronounced dead at Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He was identified Monday as Nathan Timothy Fihn.

Authorities say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
