Virtual Reality Helps Bring Veterans To Memorials

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Thousands of World War II and Korean War veterans have experienced Honor Flights, traveling to Washington D.C to see memorials built in their honor.

But what about veterans who are too frail to make the journey?

Virtual reality is now helping to bring the memorials to them.

Honor Everywhere is working to make sure veterans of all abilities can see the memorials across the country built in their honor using virtual reality.

This year on Veterans Day, Honor Everywhere will add a virtual reality tour of the Vietnam Wall to their programming.

To learn more about getting involved, visit Honor Everywhere online.
