Looking For Summer Work? Valleyfair Is Hiring

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You might not be thinking about summer right now, but Valleyfair is.

The Shakopee amusement park is now accepting applications to find more than 1,600 summer workers. They're looking for people for all kinds of jobs, including working rides, games, lifeguards and security.

Valleyfair will be hosting a summer job fair on Friday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Applicants will have the chance to speak with employment representatives and do interviews.

Positions available include park operations, games, retail, food service, lifeguards, human resources, marketing, security, maintenance and park/guest services.

Anyone who is 16 years of age and older can apply. Valleyfair starts its 2016 season on May 13.
