UW-Madison Study: Pokémon Go Players Are Friendlier, More Positive

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It wasn't that long ago when Pokémon Go exploded onto the scene.

Now, a new study is revealing some interesting things about Pokémon Go players.

Researchers at the University of Wisconsin – Madison said people who play the game are more likely to be upbeat, friendly and positive, then people who don't.

The Pokémon Go players were also more likely to be exercising, as well as experiencing positive emotions, making new friends and strengthening existing friendships.
