Used Fireworks Blamed For Fire That Destroyed ATV

NORTH BRANCH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities in Stearns County say used fireworks may have sparked a fire that destroyed a trailer and all-terrain vehicle. No one was hurt.

The sheriff's office says the fire was reported late Friday night in North Branch.

A 58-year-old man reported that his ATV was on fire. By the time authorities arrived, the vehicle and an attached trailer were engulfed in flames.

Deputies say the fire is believed to have been started by spent fireworks left in the trailer.
