Uptown's Coup d'Etat Lands On Nat'l Top New Bars List
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the best new bars in the country is right here in Minneapolis.
Coup d'Etat in Uptown landed on Thrillist's 21 Best New Bars in America list.
The new hot spot, which opened in January, made the list for its "grand interpretations" of classic cocktails.
A notable libation? "Rosemary's Secret."
It features bourbon, fresh lemon, rosemary, and a maple brown sugar reduction.
The article also has a nod to bartender Jesse Held, formerly of downtown's Marvel Bar and Eat Street Social.
Just last week, Held won a Charlie Award for Outstanding Bartender. The Charlie Awards are an annual event honoring the best in the Twin Cities' food and drink scene.
