Uptown Cheapo Finds Its New Location

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It looks like an iconic music store has found its new home.

Last month, Cheapo Discs in Uptown announced its lease was up and it had to move from its home of 17 years on West Lake Street.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal reports Cheapo will be moving into the spot where a Payday America now sits on 2600 Nicollet Ave. S.

Payday America will close later this month and Cheapo plans to open up its new store in late August or early September.
