University Of Minnesota Hosting Pro Day March 2

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota is hosting its pro day for outgoing Gophers football seniors on Monday, March 2.

It's a chance for graduating seniors from the football program who did not attend the NFL Combine to get live workouts in front of various NFL coaches and scouts. Monday's event will be held at 8 a.m. at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex. There will be 16 players working out at Monday's Pro Day.

They include Michael Amaefula, Cameron Botticelli, Zac Epping, Isaach Fruechte, Logan Hutton, Marcus Jones, Donnell Kirkwood, Harold Legania, Ben Perry, Cedric Thompson, Derrick Wells and Devon Wright. The three Gophers who worked out at the NFL Combine, David Cobb, Maxx Williams and Damien Wilson, will also participate.

Derrick Engel, who was a senior on the 2013 team and had his season end with an injury, will also participate. The Gophers Pro Day is not open to the public.
