Authorities identify previously unknown woman who died at Hennepin Healthcare

MINNEAPOLIS — The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has released the name of a deceased woman it previously asked the public's help to identify.

The medical examiner on Thursday identified the woman as 48-year-old Lotis Scroggins. She died Saturday morning at Hennepin Healthcare.

The examiner's office had shared descriptive information of the woman on Tuesday, asking if anyone from the public could help identify her.
