4 arrested after 2 teens injured in Bloomington shooting

Four people were arrested following a shooting on May 4 that injured two teenagers in Bloomington, Minnesota, police said.

It happened around 10:10 p.m. on the 7900 block of Bloomington Avenue South, according to the city's police department.

Responding officers found a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, both from Bloomington, with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital. The girl was treated and released and the boy is in stable condition, police said at the time of the incident.

Four people — an 18-year-old Minneapolis man, a 19-year-old Minneapolis man, a 19-year-old Bloomington woman and a 19-year-old St. Paul — were arrested between Wednesday and Friday in connection with the shooting, according to police.

"Investigators believe the individuals involved are known to one another and that this was not a random incident," police said in a news release.
