TwinsFest Tickets Go On Sale Tuesday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins are expecting a sellout as tickets for their annual TwinsFest go on sale Tuesday morning.

It's a chance for fans to experience baseball during the holiday season and get autographs from some of their favorite players. TwinsFest is set for Jan. 29-31, 2016, at Target Field.

Twins officials said ticket sales will be capped for each day and they are expecting capacity crowds. More than 60 current and former Twins players are expected to attend the event throughout the weekend.

The Twins will also have tickets available at TwinsFest for the April 11 home opener against the Chicago White Sox. Metro Transit will be offering free rides to the event on all buses and Metro light rai lines.

Tickets for TwinsFest will cost $20 for adults and $10 for children 14 and younger. The event will include player autographs, photo opportunities, clubhouse tours, a chance to take batting practice and a sports memorabilia and collector's show among many other events. New events this year include human foosball, giant Jenga and Twins Jeopardy.
