Twins Win Bidding For South Korean Superstar Byung-Ho Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins have their eyes on South Korean slugger Byung-Ho Park, according to CBS Sports.

The team has reportedly submitted a winning bid of $12.85 million for the 29-year-old player, who hit 53 home runs in 2015 on the Nexen Heroes, his current club within the Korean Baseball Organization.

The Twins will have 30 days to work exclusively on a contract with Park, or else he'll remain on the Heroes and the Twins won't have to pay those millions.

In the meantime, Park remains under the Heroes' control, the Twins said.
