Twins Trade Danny Santana To Braves For LHP Chapman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins announced Monday they have traded fielder Danny Santana to the Atlanta Braves for left-handed pitcher Kevin Chapman.

Chapman, 29, appeared in nine games this year for Triple-A Gwinnett. He had a 7.71 ERA with three walks and 10 strikeouts. He appeared in part of four seasons with the Houston Astros, with a record of 3-1 and a 4.09 ERA. He will report to Triple-A Rochester.

The Twins designated Santana for assignment on Friday.
