Twins Place Pitcher Sonny Gray On 10-Day Injured List

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) -- Twins pitcher Sonny Gray is headed to the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain, the team announced Sunday.

He'll be replaced by Cody Stashak, who's returning from his own stint on the injured list.

Manager Rocco Baldelli said before Sunday's game that he doesn't think Gray will miss more than one start.

Gray (O-1) allowed a homer to Alex Verdugo in the second inning before being pulled two batters later with right hamstring tightness in Minnesota's 4-0 loss to Boston on Saturday.

Gray, a two-time All-Star the Twins acquired from the Cincinnati Reds this offseason, has a 5.68 ERA in two starts so far this year.
