Twins Place Garver On 10-Day Injured List; Sano Returns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Twins announced Wednesday that catcher Mitch Garver has been placed on 10-day injured list with a high left ankle sprain.

Garver, who has played 25 games this season, suffered the injury in Tuesday evening's game against the Angels.

To replace Garver on the 25-man roster, the Twins returned Miguel Sanó from rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list.

Sanó missed the first 41 games of the season with a right heel laceration.
