Twins' Dozier Leaves With Sore Lower Back

TORONTO (AP) — Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier left Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays in the fourth inning with a sore lower back and was replaced by Eduardo Escobar.

Dozier came in batting .245 with a team-high 14 home runs and 33 RBIs. He collided with shortstop Eduardo Nunez while chasing Erik Kratz's bloop double to shallow center in the second inning.

Before his departure, Dozier had played every inning of every game this season.
