Slew Of Metro Road Closures End Monday Morning

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Your next drive around Twin Cities highways should be a little easier to navigate.

Whether you were traveling in Anoka, Mendota Heights, Maplewood or between Minneapolis and St. Paul, you likely saw detour signs on interstates 494, 35W and 94 and highways 10, 36 and 5.

Our soggy spring weather delayed a few of these projects, so the Minnesota Department of Transportation took advantage of the sunshine Saturday.

All of the closures are set to re-open by Monday morning.
