Twin Cities Music Lovers Celebrate Record Store Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Saturday is Record Store Day all across the country and in the Twin Cities.

For the 8th year, stores are celebrating with live music, giveaways, limited vinyl releases and food.

Bob Fuchs, a manager at the Electric Fetus record store in Minneapolis, says the demand for vintage formats continues to amp up every year, and record store day is a great way to celebrate.

Fuchs also says the record store business is doing very well in the Twin Cities -- at least 5 new stores have opened in the last couple years.
