Turnout At MN GOP Caucus May Break 2008 Record

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota's Republican party chair Keith Downey says turnout for the 2016 party caucus may reach 100,000, breaking the 2008 record.
People across the state showed up to caucus. WCCO's Jennifer Mayerle reported officials estimated 1,600 packed the gym at Lakeville North High School, one of the Republican caucus locations.
Many told WCCO they were Trump supporters, supporting him because of his causes, and his history of succeeding in business. But others said he's not their guy, and so far that is what most of Minnesota is saying.
Their votes going to Cruz or Rubio, who is currently leading the state.
Long lines were also reported at Democratic caucus sites, with some actually running out of ballots.
