Turkey Truck Tips Over In MN; Pig Truck Rolls Over In Iowa

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Tuesday brought some tough cleaning-up jobs following two unusual accidents.

The first happened at Highway 21 and Park Avenue in Faribault, Minn., when a truck carrying turkeys tipped over. All of the turkeys had to be removed from the truck.

In Iowa, crews had to wrangle between 150-200 pigs after the truck they were in rolled over. Many of the pigs were simply resting next to the trailer, but others didn't want to be rounded up.

The driver of the truck was not seriously hurt.

It was expected to take a few hours to get all the pigs back into a new trailer.
