Cub Foods Gives Away Thanksgiving Meals To Families In Need

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Local groups did something Tuesday to make sure hundreds of families in the community have a Thanksgiving meal.

Cub Foods passed out 1,500 free Thanksgiving meals to formerly homeless families and others in need. People Serving People, Simpson Housing Services, Project for Pride in Living, and St. Stephen's Human Services also helped out today.

It was the 6th annual "Unity in Community" event.
