Brooklyn Center Church Hosts 'Trunk Or Treat' Celebration

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A church in Brooklyn Center got the Halloween celebration started early Saturday.

"Trunk or Treat" is usually held outside of United Methodist Church. Saturday, the rain moved it inside.

Organizers say it didn't affect the turnout.

"We've had great turnout in the past," coordinator Meg Holton said. "Today with the rain I thought we probably wouldn't get many people so it's pretty exciting."

Local first responders participate in the event each year.
