Yellow Medicine Co. Man Rescued After Being Trapped Under Tree

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Yellow Medicine County man was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital after a tree fell on him.

The sheriff's office says 54-year-old Jeffrey Bailey was cutting wood on the 2700 block of 340th Street in rural Yellow Medicine County when the accident happened.

He was trapped under the tree until emergency crews were able to free him.

His condition has not been released.
