2 Campers Injured After Tree Falls On Their Tent

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Two campers were injured when a tree fell on them as they slept in a tent at Voyageurs National Park.

The incident happened before 6 a.m. Saturday near Lake Kabetogama, at a campsite that was accessible only by water.

Their injuries weren't life threatening.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says there were storms in the area, and it's not clear if lightning or winds felled the tree.
