Toyota, Nissaon Recall 6.5M More Cars Over Airbag Issues

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Toyota and Nissan have recalled 6.5 million more cars over potentially faulty airbags.

The airbags were made by the Japanese company Takata, the same company at the center of a recent recall that forced tens of millions of other vehicles off the road.

At least five deaths have since been linked to the malfunctioning airbags.

The cars involved in this latest recall were made between 2003 and 2007.
