Tornado Warnings In Central Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Tornado warnings were issued for Todd and Stearns counties in central Minnesota Wednesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service warned that the storm has a tornadic history:

According to the NWS, the storm has the potential for not only damaging winds, but also half dollar-sized hail.
The warning for Stearns County expired, but the warning for Todd County was extended through 5:15 p.m. Among the areas potentially affected by the storm are Sauk Centre, Long Prairie and West Union.
After the warning for Todd County expired, the NWS issued another tornado warning for Morrison County until 6:15 p.m.

Many in the area spotted the funnel cloud overhead, but there have been no confirmed reports that it touched the ground.

WCCO Meteorologist Chris Shaffer said models predict the storm cell will hit Darling at 5:05 p.m., Ripley at 5:31 p.m., Sylvan at 5:36 p.m., Brainerd at 5:42 p.m., Lake Edward at 5:48 p.m. and Crosby at 5:53 p.m., though there's no indication so far that the storm cell will still be an active tornado when it hits those areas.
Later, the NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Todd and Morrison Counties until 6:30 p.m. That warning expried in Todd County, but was extended for Morrison County until 8:30 p.m.
