Toddler critically injured in accidental fall from second-story St. Paul window, police say

A toddler is in critical condition after falling from the second-floor window of a home in St. Paul, Minnesota, Tuesday evening, police said.

The fall was reported just after 6:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Euclid Street. According to the St. Paul Police Department, responding officers found a 2-year-old boy unconscious. He was taken to Regions Hospital, and police said Wednesday his condition is still critical.

"Preliminary information indicates this incident was accidental," police said.

The fall is being investigated.
