Tin Whiskers, Handsome Hog Team Up To Create Smoked Stout

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Tin Whiskers and Handsome Hog are cookin' up something new!

The St. Paul brewery and restaurant joined forces to create the latest batch of Handsome Hog Smoke Ale.

At 10 a.m. Monday morning, Tin Whiskers head brewer Derek Brown and Handsome Hog Chef Justin Sutherland met to begin smoking malt that will be used to brew the stout.

After smoking the malt, Brown will use it to create the latest batch of the collaboration brew, which will be featured exclusively on tap at Handsome Hog.

This year, however, they are making a party out of the smoking process!

From 6 to 8 p.m. guests are invited to visit Tin Whiskers to enjoy some food and brews. Pork sliders and brat samples will be available for no extra cost. Beer will be available for purchase.

Tin Whiskers is located at 125 9th Street East, Suite 127 in downtown St. Paul.
