Timberwolves Waive G A.J. Price

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Thursday morning they've waived guard A.J. Price. The team's current roster stands at 14 players with eight games left.

Price appeared in 28 games during the 2013-14 regular season and averaged 1.6 points, .5 assists and .4 rebounds in 3.5 minutes per game. He was in his fifth NBA season after playing in college at Connecticut.

For his 235-game career, Price is averaging 5.9 points, 2.2 assists and 15.3 minutes per game.
