Timberwolves' Turiaf To Have Hip Surgery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Sunday that forward Ronny Turiaf will have arthroscopic hip surgery this week and will be sidelined indefinitely.

He will have surgery in New York on Tuesday, and an update will be provided on his status after that procedure.

Turiaf has played in just two games this season and only played 31 games last year due to a variety of injuries. In those two games this season, Turiaf has one rebound and two assists in just more than 18 minutes.
